Deforestation is the process of removing trees and often brush from a larger or smaller area of ​​land to make room for new buildings, landscaping, or other uses. Deforestation is necessary, for example, when preparing a plot for construction work, establishing farmland or pasture, building roads and communication lines, or simply tidying up an overgrown property.
